Personally the best program I've found for backups on Windows is a simple Robocopy script. It's not for the average PC user since it doesn't have a GUI but it's simple and works every time without question and is lightning quick. I've found too many times when a backup created with other backup apps was corrupted or had some issue, it doesn't happen often but i'd like 100% in a backup.

I'll also say Windows built in backup app it something Microsoft should be embarrassed of. It's shocking that Apples Time Machine has been around for years now and Windows has something that looks, feels and acts like it's from the 90's. Windows!!!

3 years later and 1 day of troubleshooting, andI finally find your little trick worked like a charm and my "SLOOOOOOOOOOOOW" laptop is now responding... great thinking... great help! PHEW

My latest download did not convert from .tmp to .mp4. Any idea what's going on? The app was just updated a day or two ago.
